For those of you who haven’t started your holiday shopping, here is a little advice:
1. Decide how much you are want to spend and stick to it. If you cannot afford it right now, you cannot afford it.
2. Make a list. Decide whom you are going to buy for, then decide on a dollar figure for each gift.
3. Pare down your list. Be realistic.
4. Be creative. Some people would be happy with a card or home-baked cookies.
5. Carry your shopping list with you at all times. Shop the sales.
